Reboot! Time for a clean slate!

Published in on by Lindsay

I’ve been having trouble with Chapter 5.

A lot of the trouble is actually coming from the early pages of Fizzlebit and the overall foundation I set down for the story when I started it a few years ago. After a lot of thought and various good advice, I’ve decided to reboot the comic.

What’s that mean? Basically, I’m going to go back and go over the comic as a whole. After streamlining the story, I’m going to revisit every page and evaluate whether or not it’s helping the direction of the story.

The website will stay up with all of the the current pages. Once I’ve reworked all of the chapters up to chapter 4, I’m going to remove the pages from the comic’s first run to prevent confusion. Then I’ll start posting them on a regular schedule a page or so at a time. I’ll occasionally post some silly in-between, non-chapter comics for funs.

For other silly business in the meantime, you can follow me on Twitter or Pinterest (I’ve heard it’s a thing!).

And because I can’t ever mention the word “reboot” without thinking of this classic from my Saturday mornings, here’s the intro to “Reboot” 🙂

Princess Pup Preview, Grand Inked Finale!

Published in on by Lindsay

For this week’s post,  you’ll find the exciting conclusion to the inks-only version of Princess Pups! I’m almost done flatting all the pages, so the colored version will be ready to have in book form for Wizard World Nashville in 2 weeks. Assuming tables don’t get moved around, I will be located at booth E14.

If you happen to be in the Collinsville, IL area this weekend, I’ll be hanging out at Archon occasionally at the Hex Games table in the dealer room, including a panel on Saturday at 6:10 p.m. I’ll have Shark-themed prints and buttons to purchase from the most recent Hex Games RPG that me and the great James Hornsby contributed art into known as Sharktoberfest.
