See me at The Comics Council library presentation!

THIS WEEK! Is very busy! If you happen to live in St. Louis or nearby, this Wednesday I’ll be a part of the St. Louis Public Library’s Comic Council presentation. This event is a chance for folks to see what goes into making comics, graphic novels, illustrations and the like. I’ll be showcasing what my process is for making comics, along with several other awesome artists. I’ll also have some samples and some swag for those who might be interested in buying some sweet, sweet comic-related books & merch. Fingers crossed, I’ll have my super-special Fizzlebit related items new for this year’s Wizard World available at this event (that’s a whole 2 days early!). More details on that later this week!

You can join the Facebook event for directions, reminders and announcements. If you don’t like to bother with such social networks, you can make your way to The Comic Council by heading over to the Schlafly branch of the St. Louis Library – which you can drive/GPS/metro/horseback ride to at:

225 N Euclid Ave,
St. Louis 63108.

It runs from 6:00 – 8:30PM, but maybe we’ll stay out late and party afterward! Probably not. I might at least get a library card because I just realized I don’t have one.

Okay, yeah, I’m going to quit trying to find month-based puns for these post titles….In any case! It’s the beginning of May, which means it’s time for some new coloring pages to download! Featuring Lydia and Fizzlebit having fun with shadow puppets, and making piece with Greogory! Because let’s face it, Muffintop’s the only reason Gregory picked a fight with Fizzlebit in the first place.

A small leg update: I have a cane! Temporarily! I named it Flutterz because it has lots of metallic butterflies on it.

In any case, I’m mostly concentrating on not limping when I walk with and without the cane, which is tricky because my right leg feels weird to use after not being allowed to use it for several weeks. But! I am almost back to 100%, save for still having some gnarly and reddish-scars. Which really exist to give my leg character now. 😉
