This weekend is the Wizard World Comic Con in St. Louis and I’ll be hanging out in Artist Alley with my lovely husband James Hornsby and our crafting bro Jeffrey Johnson! This convention is extra special, because I’ve got super-awesome copies of Fizzlebit in tasty 6×9 book form, plus Fizzlebit coloring books!
These are the final copies for the proofs that I hinted at last post and they came out looking great! Volume one of Fizzlebit collects chapters one and two, plus all the extra stuff featured in the digital copies of those chapters. The comics are reproduced in glorious color, and it has that nice 6×9 book-ish weight that I enjoy. (I am a bit of a book nerd).
For the coloring books, I collected all of the current coloring pages from the past several months. I also drew lots of brand-new activity pages, including a word search, find the differences, and a connect the dots! Which are actually kinda weird and difficult to make, by the way. Plus, every coloring book includes a FREE MINI BOX OF CRAYONS, HECK YEAH!
I’ll also have some shiny new Princess Pups buttons, plus a buncha minicomics!
Speaking of Princess Pups, the fine folks at Ink and Drink will be debuting the new anthology Juice Box, which features a short Princess Pups comic I did as the second story in the book! There’s also a few Fizzlebit coloring pages throughout, plus lots of other great all-ages, kid friendly comics and activities! I should have a few copies to sell, but if I don’t, you can find them over at Booth 312.
So if you’re in St. Louis and don’t have anything going on this holiday week, come on by to Wizard World and pay me a visit! 🙂
